Every 2nd Thursday of the month we go to Lakeside Academy (Teen Challenge) in Buffalo. Lakeside Academy is made up of teen boys that have either had issues with substance abuse, anxiety, or behavior. The program runs for one year if they can stay on track and complete it.

We have the opportunity to go there and teach during their chapel time, share testimonies, and be prepared for any discussions or prayer the boys may want to have with us. After the chapel time we have the opportunity to engage them through basketball (usually), fishing, disc golf, or whatever they may be doing. Our desire is to take young (teens) and older men in order to show them what godly manhood looks like. Over time, one has the opportunity to build some pretty significant relationships with these young men.

We meet in Elk River at 4:45 pm and return between 8 and 8:30 pm. As it is an early departure, some meet us in Buffalo with the chapel starting at 5:30 pm. Men, please join us in getting the gospel to young guys that desperately need it.
